1750 Broadway
Buildings here were originally built in 1886
as the factory
of the New York Central Sleeping Car Company (also known as the Wagner Palace Car
Co., I believe), designed by John B. Snook of New York, who also designed New York's
original Grand Central Depot. I believe the roundhouse shown was for cars, not
locomotives, and I don't know if it was one of the original buildings.
