Tuesday, September 28, 2010

This presentation is part of the 2010 - 2011 Buffalo & Erie County Downtown Library 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month Noon-Hour Lecture/Discussion Series sponsored by The Center for the Study of Art, Architecture, History and Nature (C-SAAHN). The 4th Tuesday theme is "Why are Buffalo Niagara's Art, Architecture, History, and/or Nature Important?"

Chuck LaChiusa is webmaster for his site, Buffalo Architecture & History  as well as for C-SAAHN. His presentation encouraged the audience to guess the name of various Buffalo landmarks from a close-up image of some point of detail. The whole presentation continuously demonstrated the close relationship, in all works shown, between the four elements of art, architecture, history, and nature. The Buffalo audience was hard to stump and seemed to enjoy the visual adventure and exploration. In time, this audio will be connected with the images shown to the audience on the Center's website.
