The Center for the Study of Art, Architecture, History & Nature (C-SAAHN)
sponsors the Noon-Hour Lecture/Discussion series on the 2nd and 4th
Tuesday of the month at the Buffalo & Erie County Downtown Central
Library. The theme for the 2010 - 2011 Series on the 4th Tuesday is
"Why are Buffalo Niagara's Art, Architecture, History and/or Nature
Important?" Rocco Termini spoke about the challenges that face
developers trying to preserve local buildings. Termini has led the
local effort to develop abandoned buildings into successful apartment
lofts. The Buffalo News provided a story on one aspect of the presentation, while Buffalo Rising gave an overview of the entire talk which spurred community dialog. --- By Dennis Galucki
