Pan-American Exposition Statler Hotel Ad

The hotel was three stories high, covered 9 acres and had 2100 rooms.

Location: northeast corner of Elmwood and Forest, where the gas station is now. Reached way up that block. A "temporary" hotel Statler built, his first success, specifically for the Pan-Am. One of the grandest hotels in the region at that time. Statler arranged to have streetcars to stop there on their way up to the fairgrounds.
