National Registration Nomination (online September 2014)

Built in 1878, on land donated by U.S. Army Ordnance Sgt. Lewis Leffman and his wife Elizabeth. Church attributed to Richard Upjohn, carpenter gothic in style, recent documents suggest that possibly his son Richard Michell Upjohn may have designed the church

Four opalescent glass windows on north side depict key events in the life of Christ were acquired between 1930 and 1931 by the rector at that time, Rev. Joseph Sheppard. Their origin is a mystery as is the artist who did them. Possibly someone who worked for Tiffany. The angel window, to the right of the front door is also done in the style of Louis Comfort Tiffany.

The stain glass windows - the three windows behind altar, the rose window are original to the church, the four windows along south wall were acquired during the 1950’s and 1960’s.
