Jesus Appears to James
John LaFarge created this window to be given in memory of James Cook Harrison in 1887. Harrison served as an alderman and vestryman of Trinity Church. He was also a trustee and president of the Erie County Savings Bank from 1854 until his death.

"After that He was seen of James" (I Cor 157) refers to the resurrected Christ appearing to his disciples. James shields his face from a radiant Jesus, dressed in royal robes of purple and gold. Designs of three triangles symbolize the Trinity, the crosses symbolize Christ and both represent the 1884 unification of Trinity and Christ Church.
