  • Opened top turns 90 degrees
  • Two-leaf, foldover top, slightly serpentined with rounded edges
  • Front apron slightly serpentined, conforming to shaping on top
  • Lyre support set on 4-legged base having rectangular center block with chamfered corners
  • Splayed legs angled from chamfered corners
  • Carved paw feet

Renaissance Revival table
      • C. 1870s
      • Round wooden top above a coved apron with two cutout valances
      • Baluster turned pedestal flanked by three scalloped S-scroll legs
      • Outswept scroll feet on casters

Empire sofa:

  • Scroll-end sofa with exposed, top rail having deeply curved ends and two volutes
  • Rail rests on upholstered stiles forming curved back of arms
  • 2 bolsters (pillows)
