(Suffragette)One of the original suffragettes. In an interview in 1975, Ms. Kruse recalled "marching down Main Street in 1918, all of us dressed in our black dresses and bonnets and waving our little yellow flags. A lot of us fought hard for the right to vote." At the time of this interview (1975), Ms. Kruse was the assistant treasurer of the Erie County Republican Committee.
