The furnishings at the Carlton House shown below are not original to the house -- although they are period correct. The house was built in 1887, and the furniture was made in the 1880s in the popular Eastlake style. Allentown Historic District antique shops have an ample supply of the furniture which complement a number of the houses built in the neighborhood built at the time.
