Dr. James P. White House. "The Repose in Egypt" window was given by the Whites in memory of Mr. White's adoptive parents. Dr. White: Member of the Christ Church vestry In 1869, the only supporter of H. H. Richardson's design for Christ Church (now Christ Chapel). The prime mover behind the campaign to establish the Buffalo State Hospital (designed by by H. H. Richardson). He was appointed chairman of the board of managers.
