Dr. James P. White House. "The
Repose in Egypt" window was given by the Whites in memory of Mr. White's adoptive
parents.
Dr. White:
- Member of the Christ Church vestry
- In 1869, the only supporter of H. H. Richardson's
design for Christ Church (now Christ Chapel).
- The prime mover behind the campaign to establish
the Buffalo
State Hospital (designed by by H. H. Richardson).
He was appointed chairman of the board of managers.
- Co-founder of the University of Buffalo's medical school
